The Hollywood Santa Monica Governance Committee hosts a quarterly Forum that presents governance, history, planning and other topics of interest to the neighborhood and residents. These are informal meetings that offer opportunities to learn from knowledgeable speakers, followed by discussion and Q&A.

The October 30ª Forum meeting will include:

• A Tale of Two Men – J. 8. Salmon and Bert Blair.
• Forward Dallas – Michael Jung, Land Use/Zoning attorney and Senior Counsel, Clark Hill Attorneys (previously Strassburger & Price). He is a Past member of the Dallas City Plan Commission, past President of the Dallas Homeowners League, and multiple non-profit organizations in Dallas.

Attendance is free; purchase of beverages or donation to Stoney’s are appreciated.

Prior Forum topics have included the History of the Conservation District, Lindsey Park, Bankhead Highway (aka Garland Road and Grand Ave.), Architectural Styles in HSM, local Transportation issues and more.
